DUST – December 2017

CVS Caremark Office 9501 East Shea Boulevard Arizona Room Scottsdale, AZ 85260

DUST (Desert Users of Tandem) was established in 1986. We are located in Scottsdale, Arizona, and have Users from the Phoenix metropolitan area along with HPE and vendors from around the world.  We formed to meet other Tandem Users, exchange ideas and have discussions with Tandem (HP). We grew to include Vendors and now have a well-rounded group.  DUST meeting attendees are considered Tandem (NonStop) Users and can share, gain, and pass along information.  We welcome anyone interested in the NonStop systems.

Our Theme this meeting is “NonStop Technical Boot Camp Synopsis”.

It’s our Annual After-Boot Camp Holiday Meeting and Toy Drive! We have a tradition of bringing an unwrapped present to contribute to the CVS Toy Drive as a token of our gratitude for all that they do in support of DUST.  If you’re coming from out of town and want to contribute monetarily, please let me know.

FAQs

What are my directions/parking options for getting to and from the event?

CVS Caremark is located at the intersection of Shea Blvd and 96th St, on the SW corner. As soon as you turn south on 96th St of eastbound Shea, the first driveway on the right will take you to the north lobby parking lot (Visitor Parking).  If this parking lot is full, continue down the driveway to the uncovered parking spaces in the parking lot.

From Visitor Parking, go up the steps to the main lobby and sign in at the Reception Desk. Our meeting is held in a secure area and badges will be issued.

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring an unwrapped toy to contribute to the Arizona Helping Hands Toy Drive at CVS Caremark.

Since 1998, every holiday season, Arizona Helping Hands provides toys, personal care items, clothing, etc. to individuals and organizations through partnerships with social service agencies, schools, hospitals, and through direct requests.  These same toys will be used throughout the year to provide birthday, graduation and other important occasion gifts to children in foster care. In 2014, directly and through collaboration with schools, churches and other social service agencies, AZ Helping Hands provided toys to 19,000 children in Arizona. We helped make the holidays joyful for children who may not otherwise have had a Happy Holiday.
